Getting started
New to weFi? Start here — what the app does, how to install it, and what to expect from your first week.
What is weFi?
weFi is a personal finance app that reads your accounts, works out what matters today, and hands you the specific move to make — with the timing that makes it count.
Instead of another dashboard, you get the answer to "what should I do next?" — grounded in your actual accounts, not generic advice.
The everyday experience is free for every user. Some advanced features are part of a paid tier, shown clearly in the app
Install weFi
Download weFi from the App Store or Google Play, then open the app to start signup.
You'll create an account, connect your bank accounts and credit cards, and add your income. It takes a few minutes.
What weFi asks for during setup
During signup, weFi asks for:
A user ID (email or phone number) and password.
Your bank accounts and credit cards, connected via Plaid.
Your income — the frequency and amount of your paycheck or other income.
Basic personal information: your name, address, and date of birth.
weFi does not ask for your Social Security Number.
Your first week with weFi
Once your accounts are connected, weFi starts reading them. Within a day or two, you'll see:
Your current position on the Home tab — where you stand today.
Suggested actions on Money Moves — the specific moves worth making, with the "why" and the "when."
Your Plan and To do tabs, populated as weFi learns your income cycle and bills.
Kudos take a full month to earn — the meter starts empty at your first full month, so give it time.
