FAQ's

We’re happy to connect or provide more info.

weFi is a personal finance app that reads your accounts, works out what matters today, and hands you the specific moves to make — with the timing that makes it count.

Instead of another dashboard, you get the answer to "what should I do next?"

People who want a clear next step, not more charts. If you have a checking account, a credit card, or a paycheck, weFi has something useful to say to you.

The core weFi experience is free for every user — connecting your accounts, your daily Money Moves, the Concierge, and Kudos.

Some advanced features are part of a paid tier. The app shows exactly what's included before you upgrade, and nothing charges automatically.

Download weFi from the App Store or Google Play, then connect your bank accounts, credit cards, and income during signup. It takes a few minutes.

weFi uses Plaid — the secure connection used by thousands of financial apps — to link your accounts.

You'll go through the Plaid flow during signup. You can add more accounts anytime from your profile.

Yes — link as many as you want. weFi looks across all of them when it decides what to tell you.

The same way you link bank accounts — through Plaid, during signup or later from your profile.

If your bank or credit union is supported by Plaid, weFi can connect to it — that covers most US banks and credit unions.

If you can't find yours during signup, reach out on our contact page and we'll look into it.

During signup, weFi asks about the frequency and amount of your paycheck or other income. You can update this anytime in your profile.

weFi also picks up income deposits it sees in your linked bank accounts and adds them to the picture

No — weFi does not ask for your Social Security Number.

weFi reads your linked accounts, works out what matters today — an upcoming bill, a card that's overused, a chance to move money — and surfaces the specific move, with the timing.

It only points at things it can see in your data. Nothing is generic; nothing is guessed.

The Concierge is where you ask questions in plain English — "How am I doing this month?", "What should I focus on?" — and get a specific answer, grounded in your accounts.

Kudos are recognition for good money habits. Each month you stay on track for one of four habits — Savings growth, Cushion, Spending control, and Debt control — you earn a Kudo for that habit.

No. Kudos recognize behavior only. They don't touch your credit score, aren't visible to lenders, and don't affect approval odds anywhere.

Money Moves are the specific actions weFi suggests based on what it sees in your accounts — pay this card by this date, move this cushion to that account, cancel the subscription that hasn't been used in 60 days.

Every Money Move includes the "why" and the "when."

Yes. weFi uses bank-level encryption. All personal information is encrypted end-to-end, so it can't be read by intercepting it or accessing our storage.

Yes. Your data is confidential — only you can see it. Sensitive fields are masked in the app; only you can unmask them.

No. weFi does not sell your personal information.
